Selfie + Phone + Photography = Selphonography

I take pictures with my phone soooo much! For sure more than a regular person does.  Having an iPhone has changed my life in little ways.  It's so practical, I take pics of things I wanna remember, for researching later, ideas hand written somewhere, etc.

Tomo demasiadas fotos con mi celular.  De todas maneras más que el común de las personas.  Tener un iPhone de hecho ha cambiado mi vida en pequeños detalles.  Me parece taaaaan práctico.  Tomo fotos de cualquier cosa que quiero recordar, de ideas que apunté en algún pedazo de papel, cosas sobre las que quiero averiguar luego, etc.

In the fashion related matters I used it a lot when I go shopping to take pics of different clothes, code tags and outfits and that helps me decide which things look good and what to buy.  When I'm getting ready a lot of times I try on different things and take pictures and then decide with them which one to wear.  It might sound weird that I do that, but there's something about looking at myself at the phone, in a picture, rather than in the mirror that makes it way easier to decide what actually looks good and what doesn't.  I guess that is because of our visual range, it's harder to see our whole self on a mirror and see the harmony and fit than seeing it in a little picture that you can analyze and see completely.  Anyways! All this introduction is just to share some pics that I've been accumulating that never made it to the Instagram or any other place.  I kept them with the hopes that one day I was going to recreate the outfit to take real pictures for the blog, but it may never happen, so here it goes.  I take pics in all the mirror of my house and also sometimes in mirrors of stores or fitting rooms, since they are so big and nice hahaha  Hope you enjoy! :)

En cuestiones de moda, el celular me sirve un montón cuando voy de shopping.  Tomo fotos de cualquier prenda que me gusta, etiquetas y por supuesto de cosas que me pruebo.  Y ver las fotos luego me ayuda a ver qué se ve bien y qué comprar.  Cuando me estoy alistando para salir, algunas veces (cuando el tiempo lo permite y la situación lo amerita) tomo fotos de diferentes opciones de outfits para luego decidir cuál usar.  Quizás suene super raro, pero hay algo acerca de ver las fotos en vez de mirarme al espejo que hace leeejos más fácil ver la armonía general de un look y ver realmente qué queda bien y qué no.  La verdad no sé la razón, pero según yo que como nuestro campo visual es restringido, vernos a nosotros mismos en una foto en tamaño reducido es más fácil.  En fin... toda esta introducción para enseñarles algunas fotos que he ido acumulando que nunca la hicieron a Instagram o a ningún otra plataforma y que guardé con la esperanza de en algún momento recrear el outfit para poder tomarle foto, pero ya fue.  Por cierto, utilizo cualquier espejo que encuentre para hacer esto.  Espero que les guste! besitos!!! :)
