¡Me cuentan!

It's been some days since the last post. I was in a beach in the north of Peru and the internet connection was not the best, so now here it goes... my very delayed post lol!
It's been a long time since I wanted to write about this trend that I'm loving so much lately. Now, the trend post comes with an outfit. This is how I dressed for traveling from Los Angeles to Lima, Peru.
Lately, I'm loooving this type of jackets with lots of pockets and zippers. They call them utility jackets or cargo jackets. When I bought this one, I was looking for an olive one and I order it online and they showed it as "diesel" color. When it arrived and I saw how dark it was, I wasn't sure of how I was going to combine it. Now I have realize that it really looks good with bright colors, earthy colors and even with black. I really looove it.
The look is very simple and comfortable. I think the hat and the "necklace" give a nice touch. This could be a boho statement necklace (you can read more about statement necklaces in this post).
Now, something that I really looove about this trend is that even though this kind of jackets have been around since long time ago, they have come in completely renew styles and uses. Now some have sleeves of different fabrics, embellishments, studs, military like, more girly style, different textures and they are not only for casual looks, but also for very elegant and feminine looks.
Here I first show my look and you will find more references underneath. Also, you can find more pictures in my Pinterest board: Trend: utility/cargo jacket.
Do you like this trend? Let me know.
Have a great weekend and thank you for reading!

:))) / The good news is that there's also utility/cargo vests for spring and autumn, and I think with some layering, we can even use them in winter.
