¿Qué tal el finde? Están disfrutando mucho? ¡Espero que sí! Desde hace un tiempo quería hablarles por aquí de un accesorio que me llama la atención demasiado: los statement necklace o maxi collares que se han puesto de moda un montón últimamente.
Yo la verdad nunca he sido de usar muchos accesorios, siempre me ha encantaaaado como se ven en revistas y en otras personas, pero nunca me animaba a usarlos a diario a pesar de que tengo un montón. Además se me hacía medio que una complicación, porque a veces me parecía demasiado llamativo y no me gusta llamar mucho la atención.
Hay una cosa que absolutamente me fascina de los maxi collares, y es que te pones uno y puede cambiar 360 grados un outfit, hacerlo pasar de común y silvestre a "super trendy"; o el hecho de que pueda hacer completamente factible usar una polera deportiva o un polo básico para salir en la noche y que se vea súper arreglado. Me fasciiiiiiina ese efecto, "el efecto maxi collar", me tiene embelesada y solo por eso me encantaría tener miles de actividades elegantosas y ocasiones para usar muchos maxi collares jajajaja
Además, que nos puede sacar de apuros si "no tenemos qué ponernos para un evento", podemos sacar nuestro haz bajo la manga, y usar un maxi collar encima de un LBD o otros vestidos medio casuales y como por harte de magia, quedamos súper chic listas para ese cocktail, fiesta o hasta un matrimonio.
Y por último, lo otro ideal sobre los maxi collares es que vienen en diferentes tamaños, colores, materiales, formas y estilos, así que es casi seguro que puedes encontrar uno que vaya contigo.

Ahora, ¿dónde encontramos estas piezas mágicas? En Perú no sé, alguien me tendría que ayudar en ese aspecto (puedo hacerle un update a este post la semana que viene una vez que llegue a Lima e investigue o me pueden ayudar con comentarios). Pero si tienen acceso a que alguien se los traiga de EE.UU. aquí he visto statement necklace increíbles de todos los precios, tamaños y colores. Las tiendas donde he visto opciones lindas y super accesibles son H&M, Forever 21, Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe, Zara y Cotton On. Otras tiendas donde he visto opciones muy lindas son J.Crew y Bloomingdales. Y también he visto que algunas personas compran en E-bay.
Aquí les dejo las fotos más lindas que encontré de maxi collares para que se inspiren como yo y se atrevan a usarlos si no han intentado aún y vean cuánto puede hacer brillar un maxi collar a un outfit que de otra manera se vería hasta medio incompleto.

How is your weekend going? I hope you are having a lot of fun. Since a while ago I wanted to make a post about a fashion accessory that I looove: the statement necklace, which is really trendy lately.
I have always looove how accessories look in magazines and on other people, but I have never use them much even though I have always had a lot of them. Mainly because I thought they could look like "too much".
Lately, though, I have been experimenting more and more with accessories and sometimes I go out with an "arm party" or "arm candy" and I love it. But something that is new to me is the statement necklace. After being overwhelm trying to choose one from the wide variety there is available here, I finally bought one last week and was able to use it yesterday night and I looooved it!!!
There's something that I find absolutely amazing about the statement necklaces and is that they can compleeeetely change an outfit in seconds. They can make even the most basic or common sweater or tee look like the perfect piece for going out at a special event. I absolutely love that effect, and just because of that I would love to have more special events and occasions to use them lol!
The other thing I absolutely love is that they can completely safe you. If you don't know what to wear and you want an easy yet super chic option, just throw a statement necklace on top of that LBD (little black dress) or even just a casual evening dress and you are ready to rock the party or even a wedding.
And the third awesome thing about this fashion accessory is that doesn't matter what is your fashion style, you can find them in all sizes, colors, materials and styles. So for sure you can find one that goes with you.

Now, where we can find this magic pieces? In Peru, I don't know yet, but I'll find out when I get there (I'll make an update on this post). But if you live in the USA or you can make someone bring you stuff from the USA, I have find very beautiful pieces and very affordable prices in H&M, Forever 21, Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe, Zara and Cotton On. Other stores where I have seen nice options too is J.Crew and Bloomingdales. And also I know some persons buy on E-bay.
