De regreso en el blog para hablar de los shorts de denim que he estado usando tanto en mis semanas de verano en Perú. Introduzco bien al protagonista de este post porque estos no son short de jeans nada más, son estos shorts de jean que tienen los bordes descocidos y/o a veces hasta huecos y que tranquilamente podrían ser el resultado de un DIY con un par de jeans viejos.
Quería dedicar un post completo a esta pieza primero porque personalmente me encanta y porque con la fiebre del denim cae perfecto. Pero además porque siento que es demasiado versátil y como verán más abajo, la pueden usar chicas de todos los estilos habidos y por haber y, con un poco de ingenio, en ocasiones que ni se les ocurría.
Tengo y uso seguido mis shorts normales más formales, pero son los shorts "grunge" de los que ando enamorada últimamente y no veo las horas de que haga más calorcito por aquí [en California] para usarlos muchísisimo!!!
Entiendo que si ven el short por sí solo, a muchas les puede parecer que quizás no va su estilo. Pero la idea de este post es justamente sacarles de la cabeza esta idea y ver otras opciones para combinar esta pieza. Verán que hay un short grunge para todos los estilos. Y en mi caso particular, creo que me gustan aún mas cuándo se usan con combinaciones menos obvias, mezclando estilos súper glamorosos con esta pieza super "desarreglada" y creo que es porque me fascinan los looks con contrastes. Y a ustedes qué combinación les gusta más? Usarían alguno de estos looks?

I wanted to dedicate a complete post to these kind of denim shorts because I personally love them and now with the denim fever and the spring-summer coming it's a good time. But also because I think they are so versatile and like you will see below, almost any style of girl can use them and with some creativity, you can even use them in more occasions than you would ever had imagined.
I have normal denim shorts, but the cut-offs are the ones that I'm in love with and I'm just only waiting for the summer to come over here [California] to use them again.
I can imagine that if you see the short by it self, there may be some persons that would think that they are just not their style, but precisely in the pictures below you'll see how to pair it in unusual ways and you'll see that there's a cut-off for every style. And in my particular case the looks that I like the most are where the really distressed shorts contrast with a really chic outfit. And you? Which one you like the most? Would you use any?

Espero que les haya gustado y que hayan podido encontrarle más usos a sus shorts rotitos. Si todavía no tienen unos, una de las mejores opciones es cortar jeans antiguos. Aquí les dejo un tutorial que encontré para hacer uno, pero pueden encontrar muchos más. Les recomiendo ir cortando de a pocos y probárselos cada vez que corten, para estar seguras que les está quedando como quieren. / Hope you have liked it and that you have find new ways to use cut offs.
